We're Growing! -THREE FACULTY POSITIONS AVAILABLE
The Seminary is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join its team of faculty and staff in their work of developing men and women as thinking, creative and prepared leaders for Kingdom service world- wide. This takes place in an exciting, cross-cultural and residential training situation. This post is for a third faculty member in NT Studies.
The candidate should be focused on teaching and mentoring students in an institute that emphasizes spiritual growth, pastoral and missiological application of learning, as well as becoming competent and contemporary in theological matters. Research, writing, and publishing is encouraged and expected to some degree but there is no "publish or perish" environment. As time and opportunity permits, instructors are encouraged to serve as visiting lectures in partner schools in Eastern and/or Western Europe. It is essential that the candidate be committed to the development of the overall spiritual and devotional life of the seminary.

The candidate should be focused on teaching and mentoring students in an institute that emphasizes spiritual growth, pastoral and missiological application of learning, as well as becoming competent and contemporary in theological matters. Position available (full-time):
Assistant/Associate Professor of OT Studies (Language and Literature; academic rank to be determined based on credentials)
Courses or seminars will be delivered at one time or another for evening and extension school, distance education, on-line training, and residential day classes for Certificate, MDiv, and "MA"-type programs. Oversight of theses will also be included. Typical courses will be Hebrew, Hebrew Exegesis, OT Introduction; various OT book or sectional studies (expositional and exegetical); OT Theology; OT Ethics; OT Textual Criticism; OT Historical and Cultural Backgrounds; OT Archaeology.

THE CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO RAISE HIS/HER OWN SALARY & BENEFITS PACKAGE FROM INTERESTED FRIENDS/CHURCHES
DUTIES:
• Preparation and teaching of courses related to missiology and practical ministry courses.
• Evaluate and supervise course work of students.
• Guide and evaluate students in their thesis work.
• Provide academic and spiritual counsel to students.
• Publish articles and books on missions and practical ministry.
• To provide an active model of godly living before the students.
• Organize courses and recruit professors for mission and practical ministry courses.
• Assist and work in collaboration with the Academic Dean in issues related to curriculum and other academic matters.
• Attend all academic and faculty meetings.
• Work cordially in collaboration with other faculty and staff members.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum ten years experience in cross-cultural Christian contexts
• Excellent skills in the English language equivalent to a native speaker/writer including satisfactory command of English written style
• Educational experience to a minimum a PhD in Missiology
• Minimum of ten years experience in local church ministry leadership positions (pastor, elder, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at university level.
• Experience in mentoring in one-on-one relationships
• Willingness and ability to raise own salary and benefits on a charitable basis (salary & benefits channeled through TTS organization but not provided by organization)
• Willingness to work over-time/unusual hours when required
• Stated commitment to the Historic Christian faith
• Sound moral character as witnessed to by suitable references
• Willingness to assist in other ministries of the seminary (practical education, mentoring, administration, etc.)
